FOR STAR

Star was a beautiful black mare

She was never lonely with Neddie there

Star lived at REMUS for 14 yrs

She had no worries or no fears

Every time I saw her she would greet me the same

She would rub her head on me and I would ruffle her mane

When she was lead out to the fields she was never alone

She would give a loud neigh then Neddie would come

When it was time for sun to go down

Star would canter across the field beating the donkeys and Shetlands hands down

Because she wanted to be the first home to eat

But she would always wait for Neddie before she started this treat

Stars stable was the biggest one

She had lots of love and lots of fun

AT REMUS where they love and care

For Star, Neddie and all the animals there.
