IN MEMORY OF STAR

With such intensity she lit up the place,

Trotted around the fields with such Immaculate grace,

Before being rescued she had such a terrible ordeal,

But then taken in and cared for with such kindness.

Her best friend NEDDY was such a good mate,

Worried if he came round the corner a little bit late,

A different angle she saw us all,

Always so kind as though it's a rule.

Gentle, brave, adoring, nice

Pretty much explains this wonderful horse,

She will be remembered as a magnificent

Loveable animal.

Like a real Star she'll shine on us all at night

Her spirit still lives on with such might
