The Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary have launched their WELFARE CAMPAIGN 2000 which will run from the year 2000 until its objectives have been reached. It is a two pronged campaign and aims to work both locally and nationally.

LOCALLY: To identify local problem areas and bring them to the attention of local authorities

• To implore local authorities to take a responsible attitude towards the problems.
  
  
• To have a code of care for animals kept on their land.

NATIONALLY: Identify National problems and bring them to the attention of M.P's & Ministers:

• To implore Government bodies to look at the legislation and ways of improving
  animal welfare conditions.
  
  
• To bring together in a united voice all those who care about our equine frinds
  and want to see them granted better conditions.
