From M 25/ Romford./London.

From M25, junction 28, (Brentwood) take the A12 exit, & proceed towards Chelmsford / Colchester /Clacton.

Leave A12 at first exit signposted “Mountnessing & Ingatestone” Pass through Mountnessing (Route takes you back over the A12) into Ingatestone Village

In the centre of Ingatestone village, you will come to a crossroads: To the left is Fryerning lane, (very narrow)
To the right is Stock Lane. Take the Stock Lane turning.

*Follow Stock Lane, over a small packhorse bridge,
soon you will see Buttsbury Church on your right.
Turn right at the church, into Buttsbury Road.

The sanctuary is located on the left, at “Little Farm” (Signposted), Which is between Elmbrook Farm & Shoulder Hall. It is next to Buttsbury ford.

On Open days, there are signs from Ingatestone village.

From Clacton /Colchester/ Chelmsford.

Take A12 towards London, until you reach the
“Margaretting & Ingatestone” exit.

Proceed through Margaretting, into Ingatestone village.
At the crossroads in the centre of the village, there is
Fryerning Lane to the right (very narrow), Stock Lane to the left. Take the Stock Lane turning.

Continue as * above.
